Hello from Rachel!

My name is Rachel, and I go by Lovebug Shotqueen on the forum. I’m a hardcore scrapbook shopper and hoarder. Well, I’m getting better on the hoarder status, I’m starting to really use my supplies.

I started scrapbooking in 2004 and the first album I really did was my engagement/wedding album! Although my style has evolved, that album is still special to me because of the important event in my life that it represents and because it is my start in the scrapbooking world. So obviously from that statement, you can tell I’m married – to a wonderful man, Brian, who was my best friend for years before we dated and got married. We have a son, Kane who was born in the dwindling minutes of December 31, 2005 and a daughter, Sienna, who was born late on August 20, 2008.

Mostly my scrapbooks feature Kane and Sienna front and center, but I throw in Brian and I and some family and friends from time to time as well. I love taking pictures, and hope that I will eventually learn my camera and start taking better pictures to scrapbook. I'm still learning how to use my "new" digital SLR and get overwhelmed and revert back to the "auto" settings way too often. One day I vow to learn enough to take photos regularly with my own settings.... ahh, to dream. Wink

I am very excited to be part of the Lovebug team and can’t wait to share in the planning of some wonderful, fun events alongside Kat and the entire team.
